It all started with one simple (and slightly frustrated) question:
Why are all wipes kind of... terrible?
This thought crossed our minds right as the Covid-19 pandemic was sweeping the globe and wipe usage was skyrocketing. So we started digging. What we found was shocking: most wipes are made of microplastics, soaked in toxic (often forever) chemicals, and packaged in millions of single-use tubs that sit in landfills for centuries.
And as parents, it got personal fast. The thought of spreading microplastics and toxic chemicals across our counters - onto our kids’ hands, onto our skin - didn’t just feel gross. It felt deeply wrong.
We knew there had to be a better option - so we made one.
